Yeah, the New Year in WoW isn't really all that. I guess most people have those funny things called Real Lives. But some of us losers who only had some chicken with noodles and Coke to celebrate with... we could have enjoyed a pixel or a few bigger fireworks for instance.

Let's hope the whole next year doesn't consist of sitting in Auction Hall or training fishing skill. So kittens, let's get it on already!

That's it, nothing more. Very merry and furry Christmas to all kittens and non-kittens alike. After Christmas begins the hard work of cleaning the raid instances from evil monsters.

Free migration to brand new server in a much more alliance friendly battlegroup. This is what many of our PvPers had been waiting for. Kittens packed their bags, wiped the dust of Bronze Dragonflight off their paws and left for a new adventure.

Hopefully we won't lose too many of our members during this trip - at least we are sure to find many new friends on our destination.

Wrath of the Lich King launch went smoothly. People actually got to Northrend before midnight. Now we just need people to get their copies and start playing so we can explore the new dungeons.

Forget your real lives now, WotLK is better!

The infection is gone and now we can focus on the actual invasion. Invaders drop Necrotic Runes which you can trade in for couple of epic pieces and trinkets - and of course to Tabard of the Argent Dawn (which is also an achievement). The Shadows of Doom drop 30 runes and possibly an epic chest piece. So go help yourself and all the people of Azeroth by fighting these bastards.

Remember, these items are only obtainable during the event, which might not last for long anymore.
